Why This Resource Exists
Idaho makes many jail and release records open, but no single database covers every custody system. Jerome County Sheriff's Office documents jail confinement and release. The Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search reports state custody, community supervision, and dated discharge. District 5 supervises many parole and probation cases, while federal releases appear through the Bureau of Prisons system. This site organizes those separate tools, record contacts, and lookup steps by the question each one can answer.
Information Collected Here
The pages provide purpose-specific routes for:
- Searching for a named released person and requesting the county release record
- Checking a Release Date Lookup, VINE Inmate Check, or Post-Release Supervision
- Finding Jerome County Jail and Twin Falls Community Reentry Center contacts
- Reading the county headcount and IDOC locator without confusing current custody with release
- Requesting a booking record or photograph from the agency that holds it
